Behind the Lens
Hey! I'm Mitchell, and I’m a photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario. Outside of my work in the mechanical engineering field, I’ve spent my life developing a love of photography, music, and graphic design. I'm always chasing the feeling of enhancing the way people see themselves and the world around them through my work.
While in school for mechanical engineering, I was the Director of Multimedia, photographer, and webmaster for the McMaster Interdisciplinary Satellite Team’s NEUDOSE mission (www.mcmasterneudose.ca). In these roles, I photographed many events and several headshots for the team.
During the COVID pandemic, I worked on Communitech's Digital Main Street team as a graphic designer to support small, local businesses with their digital marketing. With my passion for graphic design background and photography, I strengthened and/or initiated our clients' branding and web presence.
I've been involved in the Croatian community my whole life. Playing the tambura, learning the songs and dances, and practicing the cultural traditions have given me a deep appreciation for my family's heritage. I’ve photographed multiple events for the community!
